Silicone, wood, fake leather.

The shape of a chair is a negative of our lower body and yet a copy of it simultaneously. From the chair's point of view, our skeleton is no different theirs. I have a profound gratitude to them for supporting my body, this feeling turned into a metaphor in which I wanted to support my own body using the qualities of a chair. They are simultaneously strong and submissive  beings. I was fascinated with the idea of turning something we are all oblivious to: a mundane item we use daily and turn it into something extremely obvious once you see it: a manifestation of our bodies hidden within them.
